The Cashbook is a program that will allow you to create your bank account
on a computer and assign analysis codes against the transactions. These
analysis codes along with the general ledger codes will determine the
individual items, which make up the deposits, withdrawls and transfers
shown on the bank account.
These transactions are recorded on the bank account through the process
of downloading to the cashbook from the accounts program and also through
manual entries done in the Cashbook itself.
The three sources for these transactions are:
- Debtors System
- Creditors System
- Manual Entries into the Cashbook
